It's been a long time since the last I posted prattle babble in this blog. I was too busy with my work and find it hard to allocate some time to update. I've been neglecting my blog for several times whenever I get preoccupied and this is the nth time I will be making a revamped..again!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This time, I won't make any promises that I will be more active in updating this site because sooner or later, I might get lazy again. I will also make it more like my online journal where I will post my insights, current habits, recent happenings and what not. I had enough of the social networking sites - I got tired reading innuendos of those people who can't say it in front of the person they are referring to.</div>
<a name='more'></a><div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Enough of the rants! Let me start with the new additions to my blog. All of them can be found on my blog sidebars. These are as follows:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Recently Watched </b>- These are the movies or series that I've just recently watched and I will be only showing 5 recent items. They are linked to my <a href="http://www.imdb.com/user/ur62828337/">IMDB Profile</a> which is still currently being reconfigured. You will most likely found there my reviews and ratings for the said motion pictures. Please take note that only those movies or series that I've watched after revamped are on the list.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Currently Reading - </b>Reading was never my hobby but it will be a great achievement if I finished one. It will feature all novel/s I'm currently reading. They are also linked to my <a href="http://www.shelfari.com/o1515592813/shelf">Shelfari Profile</a>; where all of my read, currently reading, and to-read are indexed and reviewed/rated.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
I'm still thinking of other stuff that can bee added to my blog - more to come!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

So after 5 months (almost), I was able get a new job - as a front desk agent of a hotel. Luckily, I was able to pursue the career path I wanted although I was still hesitant. I'm still not comfortable with the work atmosphere although my colleagues are very welcoming and friendly. It's been two weeks since my first day and still feeling uneasy.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
Why am I not satisfied? I haven't done anything aside from taking reservations and stuffs. I want some real interaction with the guest but I'm not yet being trained (as in really trained) in terms of front desk operations. I'm still stuck in the back office. I don't know if I am the one whose lacking. I know for a fact that I will learn it on a practical basis but operation wise, it is not advisable. Being an agent also involves cash-handling making it difficult (well, unlike 5-Star Hotels who has separate manning for cashiering). Poof. If someone would be really willing enough to train me one on one then maybe I could do it. Very rough start but I understand the adjustment that I should take.<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
Anyways, aside from having a new job, I also rented a room near the hotel since commuting is very long and tiring; travel time takes almost two hours from home to get there. I also observed that sometimes we really need to work overtime to finish our tasks. Price is reasonable in terms location. The advantage is 10-15 minutes travel time going to my work and near my aunt's where I get to have free meals and wi-fi acces >:). I've been missing my home for a while; maybe because I'm still feeling lazy due to my very long vacation and bum.<br />
<br />
Since I'm still starting and on a new beginning, I'm still experiencing rough adjustments - mentally and financially. I hope things get better....<br />

My contract has ended in my workplace and currently I am almost 4 months unemployed. How was that for me? I'm stuck in the house, helping my mother in our family business but this every day repetitive routine has been killing me. How I wish that finding job here in my country is easy..... Although I've already passed on couple of my job interviews, lately I've been picky on what job should I go for. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Unfortunately, those interviews were not really my type. If you'd ask me why do I bother attending job interviews, my answer will be: To practice on how to answer the interview properly, especially when the time come when I'll be interviewed for the job I'd like to work on. I must admit, I still staggering to answer sometimes during the interviews. Well, maybe because I'm nervous. Who would not be?<br />
<a name='more'></a><div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: left; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://asianwiki.com/images/thumb/0/03/Love_Rain-p4.jpg/250px-Love_Rain-p4.jpg" style="clear: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://asianwiki.com/images/thumb/0/03/Love_Rain-p4.jpg/250px-Love_Rain-p4.jpg" width="224" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://asianwiki.com/Love_Rain_%28Korean_Drama%29">Image Source</a></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
Anyways, moving on. I was so sick of my every day repetitive routine, so I search something new to spend my time. I ended up watching '<a href="http://asianwiki.com/Love_Rain_(Korean_Drama)">Love Rain</a>', a Korean drama which is aired in one of the local channels here in my country. To tell you the truth, I don't know which time it airs in my favorite local channel so I end up downloading. It is a good time spender if you'd ask me because it takes 1 hour per episode. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
I'm afraid that I can't review it yet but it's fun to watch. Although I've only watched the first four episodes (still counting), it already caught my interest. I don't usually watch other foreign TV shows (English TV shows is an exemption) but if I find it interesting, I take my time. Besides, Yoona of Girl's Generation is one of the protagonist. <3<br />
<br />
The show also matches the season here in my country (which is rainy) but unfortunately, I'm currently writing it on a very hot day. Thanks to climate change. x(<span style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: white; color: #666666; display: inline !important; float: none; font-family: monospace; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: bold; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 13px; orphans: auto; text-align: center; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px;"></span><br />
<br />
<br />
Here is the plot of the show:<br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
<i>"Love Rain" depicts a 1970's pure love and a love from the present day<br />
<br />
~ 1970's ~<br />
<br />
In-Ha (Jang Keun-Suk) is a university student majoring in art. In-Ha and his friends Dong-Wook (Kim Shi-Hoo), a medical student, and Chang-Mo (Seo In-Guk), a law student, are popular at school, especially with women. In-Ha, Dong-Wook and Chang-Mo also enjoy playing the guitar and singing together.<br />
<br />
One day, In-Ha passes female student Yoon-Hee (Yoona) on campus. It takes no more than 3 seconds for In-Ha to fall in love with Yoon-Hee. He later sees Yoon-Hee sitting on a bench, while painting. In-Ha begins to paint her portrait, but the next moment she is gone. In-Ha runs out to find her and, in his excitement, bumps into Yoon-Hee. Yoon-Hee drops what she is holding. In-Ha helps to pick her stuff up, but doesn't say anything to her. After she leaves, In-Ha discovers a small notebook that she left behind. The notebook is her diary. At night, In-Ha opens up the diary and reads a page. He learns that Yoon-Hee's parents died and she loves the American film "Love Story." He then closes shut the diary. The next day, In-Ha waits for her outside a campus building to return her diary. When he turns around and is about leave, Yoon-Hee appears and asks In-Ha if he has seen her notebook. In-Ha doesn't speak up in time and misses returning her diary. In-Ha then reads more from her diary, this time from front to back multiple times.<br />
<br />
On a rainy day, In-Ha sees Yoon-Hee standing in front of building without an umbrella. In-Ha offers to walk her with his umbrella. As they walk together they feel a bond. A date is set to meet the following Sunday to watch the movie "Love Story".<br />
<br />
Later, Dong-Wook takes In-Ha and Chang-Mo to a get-together at a restaurant. Dong-Wook asks In-Ha and Chang-Mo to help him get closer to Yoon-Hee. Dong-Wook met Yoon-Hee the day before and also fell in love with her. She reminds him of his late mother. Because of this, Dong-Wook had asked his friend Hye-Jung (Son Eun-Seo) to bring Yoon-Hee to the get-together at the restaurant.<br />
<br />
~ Present Day ~<br />
<br />
At a train station in Hokkaido, Japan, Joon (Jang Keun-Suk) and Ha-Na (Yoona) bump into each other. Ha-Na's cellphone falls into Joon's pocket without either person noticing. Joon is a photographer and a playboy. He came to Hokkaido for a photo shoot. Ha-Na is a student studying in Hokkaido and about to depart back to South Korea.<br />
<br />
Later, Joon hears an odd cellphone ringtone. Joon then realizes that he has someone else's cellphone in his pocket. Meanwhile, Ha-Na goes to a shooting site to retrieve her cellphone, but Joon isn't there. Because of Joon's constantly changing schedule, Ha-Na's misses him three separate times. Finally, Ha-Na goes to Joon's hotel. After waiting until past midnight in the hotel lobby for Joon, Ha-Na decides to go into Joon's hotel room to retrieve her cellphone. Nobody is in the room and the door is unlocked. Ha-Na finds her cellphone, but suddenly Joon and a model walk through the door ...</i></blockquote>
I didn't read the plot, BTW. I just copied it in the website because I don't want to spoil my self. :))<br />
If I don't get lazy, I might actually review but the chance is very low. >:)<br />
Anyways, it's very entertaining and fun to watch. Although it may kind of cliche, still, it had it's mix of sad, funny, and cheesy moments.<br />

MANILA, Philippines – GMA Network news achor Jessica Soho slammed comedian Vice Ganda – whose real name is Jose Marie Viceral – earlier Tuesday for a “cruel” joke that he made about her during a sold-out show on May 17 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In a statement sent to the Philippine Daily Inquirer by SMS, Soho said, ”Rape is not a joke and should never be material for a comedy concert.”</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Soho, also the network’s vice president for news programs reacted to a whole sequence about her in the concert segment about unlikely TV celebrities becoming bold stars.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Viceral jested that, should she start making sexy movies, the pivotal scene should be a gang rape. This was preceded – and followed – by other jokes about her weight.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“Rape victims…suffer tremendously from this terrible crime,” Soho said in the statement. “The horrors they go through are unspeakable and should never be taken lightly.”</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
From Viceral’s camp, road manager Russ Samson said they were still waiting as of posting time for the comedian’s “go-signal” to issue their own statement or clarification.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<hr style="margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px;" />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I am not an avid fan of Vice Ganda nor Jessica Soho. It's just that for me, I think Jessica Soho is overreacting and out of context. Even in the past, 'rape jokes' are already common and is never new. It is a joke UNLESS he made fun of a particular incident in real life, then that needs to be taken seriously.<br />
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/_IqIsVRvmOM" width="560"></iframe><br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Though I did not watch the concert live, I got it from Youtube. There are far worst jokes than Jessica Soho's. I even thought that Kris Aquino would react badly for such humiliating jokes but in the end, laugh along with it (not to mention that she is also watching the concert live). </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
One thing also, there are a lot of one-sided reports with regards the said 'Cruel Jokes'. I wouldn't be shocked if it came from the opposing networks (GMA7 and TV5). How was that for an 'unbiased' news casting? Stupid network wars. I'm not thinking about black propaganda, really. *sarcasm* Sometimes I think it has nothing to do with the actors/actresses but to their mother network.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A joke is joke and must not be taken seriously but humiliating a person just to make the audience laugh is bad. But just come to think of it, the jester is not also perfect. <i>Example: Vice Ganda is gay - there is no way that he will be ever become a girl, he looks like a horse. Although Jessica Soho is fat, she is witted. That's something isn't it? </i>Vice Ganda is incomparable to Jessica Soho, not to mention that she already prove herself internationally.<br />
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
At some point of our life, we also made fun of people, may it be intentionally or unintentionally. We are never different, only that they are famous. Don't be such a hypocrite.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I still wonder why he is bashed by people who are also like Vice, might even worse than him. Here are some people who post on his <a href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/Vice-Ganda/56771207447">Facebook Likepage</a>:</div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Generally speaking, Vice is a bad influence. You can easily notice that many people nowadays - may it be young or old, are acting like him. Meeeeh, what am I talking about? There is no such thing as good or bad influence. It's always about 'choices' and 'decisions', either live with it or ignore it. Parental guidance is strongly advised!</div>

Maria Lourdes Nancy Sombillo Binay-Angeles (born May 12, 1973 in Makati, Rizal) is a Filipina politician professionally known as Nancy Binay or Nancy Binay-Angeles. She is currently running for the 2013 Philippine Senate elections scheduled for May. She was selected as the 12th senatorial nominee for the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA). She is the most vilified senatorial candidate in the 2013 elections, due to her political dynastic connections, lack of experience in high-level administration/legislation, and supposed lack of intellect. (source: <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nancy_Binay">Wikipedia</a>)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
No doubt that she is indeed the most vilified senatorial candidate, but I don't get why people put so much hate on her. Don't get me wrong, as I won't vote her for the upcoming election and she's not qualified for me. It's just that some hate of the people gets on my nerve. Every day, I read a lot of them especially in my daily Facebook feeds. <br />
<a name='more'></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
There are a lot of people in the senate who manage to win the vote without having any experiences. Take for example, the actors and actresses. Fernando Poe Jr. does not have any experience in the politics but became one of the Presidential Candidate last 2004 elections, mind you it was a close call between former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. Even Cory Aquino who is self-proclaimed "plain housewife", became 11th President of the Philippines and is the first female President in our country.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I'm not really against with political dynasty, as long as they are doing good in their job. Maybe, given the fact about Nancy Binay's personal background, experience and education - she will only become his dad's puppet (Vice-President Jejomar Binay).</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Well, I think we voters are matured enough for choosing who we want to. But why put so much hate on her? Especially Vice Ganda, who just publicly broadcast that she is an unqualified candidate. I don't see the point out of it, it only means disrespect or at least let the people decide for themselves. Even Risa Hontiveros has her own dirty tactics and full time opportunist, making black propaganda through out the social networking websites. IMO, she is the one behind face-offs especially in Facebook. Why? Because Nancy is always compared to her and she even went to Vice Ganda after the publicity stunt.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
People need not to hate, trash talk or attack her personal interests. We can always leave her name unmark in the ballot. We are people of democracy, let the majority of the people decide.</div>
<br />
<hr />
<br />
Okay, so enough with that. Let me just share you some Satire and Fictional articles for Nancy Binay. It's really funny! :)) What makes it more funny is that some people share it carelessly and got carried away with their emotions without knowing that the source itself is an entertainment blog (<a href="http://sowhatsnews.wordpress.com/">SWN</a>). What can you say? People nowadays can easily be fooled and believes on everything that can be ignoring the source.<br />

Then you have come to the right place! Now, I'm going to teach you how to add emoticons to your blogger blog using Yahoo! Messenger Emoticons and Onion Head emoticons.<br />
<br />
This script was tested by me (using this blog as well) and 100% working :-b. I suggest you do a back-up file of your template first before proceeding in case some unfortunate things happen.<br />
<br />
Just follow the following steps:<br />
<a name='more'></a><ul>
<li>Go to <b>"Template" > "Edit HTML"</b> </li>
<li>Copy the code below and paste it right before or above <b></head></b> tag.</li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<textarea cols="50" onclick="this.focus();this.select()" readonly="readonly" rows="1" style="height: 36px; width: 500px;"><script src='https://sites.google.com/site/snowconescripts/emoticons.js' type='text/javascript'/></textarea>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
The above script will enable you to use Yahoo! Messenger Emoticons and Onion Head Emoticons in your blog. See some example:<br />
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<table border="1" style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Verdana, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 16.890625px; orphans: auto; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px;"><tbody>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If you followed the steps carefully, it should work<b>. </b>The demonstration above were shown with spaces so that the script will not convert them into emoticons. You need to type them without spaces in order to make them work. The emoticons will be shown once your page or post has been fully loaded.
<b> </b><br />
<br />
<b>For intermediate or advanced users, you can download the script <a href="https://sites.google.com/site/snowconescripts/emoticons.js">here</a> and upload them to your own website.</b><br />

</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So I'm not that kind of a Sony Playstation geek or genius in terms of how it function, but first let me remind you that your <b>Playstation 2 must be "modified" in order to play back up games</b>. Consult to your nearest game shops that offers modifications with these types of console or just simply search in Google. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I have nothing else to do that's why I made this tutorial and since Playstation 2 games is hard to find nowadays.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
To start of, you need to have the following:<br />
<a name='more'></a></div>
<ul style="text-align: justify;">
<li>A computer that has a <b>DVD writer</b>.</li>
<li>The Image file of the game of your choice, <b>ISO </b>is the common term and format of a CD/DVD image file. I will not tell where you can get these, just search it in the internet.</li>
<li>A <b>blank DVD-R</b><b> disc</b> (for PS2 games), preferably 8x write speed. You can use any brand, I got mine for 5 pcs for PhP 40.00 (USD 1.00) and no problem at all.</li>
<li><b>Burning software</b>, I prefer using <a href="http://www.dvddecrypter.org.uk/">DVD Decrypter</a>. There are some others too but I highly suggest this one. At first, I used Alcohol 120 but I wouldn't recommend it because I had issues regarding loading speed (during the game) and there is a huge chance of error while burning (disc will be wasted). With <a href="http://www.dvddecrypter.org.uk/">DVD Decrypter</a>, I got zero waste and the burned games works perfectly on my Playstation 2.</li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Now that you have the above requirements, I highly recommend you to <b>close all unimportant application in your computer other than the </b><b>burning Software. </b>DVD burning takes huge amount of memory in your computer and any obstructions or whatever you call it can affect the outcome of the burned DVD.</div>
<ol style="text-align: justify;">
<li>Insert the Blank DVD-R disc and open <a href="http://www.dvddecrypter.org.uk/">DVD Decrypter</a>. In the toolbar, click Mode->ISO->Write or simply press "W" key to go in ISO Write mode.</li>
<li>Select the ISO of the game you wish to burn.</li>
<li>Set the writing speed in to 4x (very important).</li>
<li>Click "Write" to start the burning process. Normally, it should only take for about 15-25 minutes, depending on the file size of the game.</li>
<li>Once done, label it using permanent marker and try it on your Playstation 2!</li>
</ol>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
One last thing, take good care of the DVD because any major or minor scratches can affect the performance of the game. If you followed my guide carefully, it should work flawlessly because mine did! </div>

I wasn't able to write anything from the last few months because I'm hell of a busy nowadays. I barely have 1 hour computer time everyday because of my work and mostly it only involves late catch up with my old and new friends. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Anyways, this post will be about my life in 2012 and my New Year resolution for 2013 (hopefully). I think I haven't done this kind of post last year (or perhaps I deleted it during my blog reboot?). It's never too late, better having one than never. I hope I can make this every year so I can summarize my blessings and accomplishments. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
<b>Before I start, let me greet you a very Happy Christmas and have a prosperous New Year everyone! Another year has ended.</b><br />
<br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Okay..... so enough with the introductions and here we go!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><b>Last Few Months of College</b></div><div style="text-align: justify;">And the most busiest time of my life. Full of deadlines, schedules, pressure ~ well technically, I wasn't able to enjoy the last few months in college because of our thesis and some loads of final project. Why did I mention it was busy? I have a huge tendency of slacking off and laziness. Ha. Maybe I just think to much. Well, my laziness and slacking paid a decent high grades. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">I think it was the time also that there was a confusion between my past love. I can't elaborate though because I already forget the whole details. Besides, that's what we do right? </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><b>College Graduation~!!</b></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The one of the biggest event in my life and also my greatest achievement. After 4 years of attending classes, cutting classes, monkey business, studying (occasionally, hahaha!), pressures, tiredness, drinking sessions, outings, hang-outs, examinations (uuggghh), assignments, projects, and thesis (my God!!). Thanks to my slacking, laziness, critical-thinking skills, logic, mathematical skills, problem solving, perseverance, comprehension, attentiveness, and multi-tasking abilities. I didn't know that I have those qualities but hey that's me! Though graduated without any flying colors, I'm pretty satisfied about it since I also received decent high scoring grades. It's just that I wasn't able to start my college motivated ~ If I didn't spent my precious time with monkey business, then maybe I had one (just a thought....).</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><b>In-Between-Jobs Phase</b></div><div style="text-align: justify;">No job for almost 5 months (May-Sept). First 2 months were spent on slacking and rest (which is what I regret the most). I was a little bit worried about my career during that time. I had plenty of interviews but wasn't able to avail any luck. So many opportunity has been wasted, what a shame! I realized that having a "backer" or should I say <i>job assistance</i> is always on the top priority. Since then, I realized the hardship and difficulty of finding a job.. never waste an opportunity. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><b>My First Job</b></div><div style="text-align: justify;">As I mentioned, 2 months were used on slacking and rest ~ after 3 months, I finally had my first job! It is also one my greatest achievement this year ~ not to mention that I worked my ass of for this. I am proud of myself by having a job without any <i>job assistance. </i>Though at first it was really difficult for me and made a huge adjustment (I spent 2-3 hours travel time and 9 hours of working hours). It's difficult because my body is not used on long travels (basically if you add the the travel time back and forth, 4-6 hours is spent only in travel).<br />
<br />
Why still go for it? Opportunity. It's one of the luxury hotels in the city of Manila. It's a good training ground especially for my communication skills. My supervisor, seniors, and office mates are all nice. My commutes and daily compensations are justifiable ~ i still manage to have savings.<br />
<br />
<b>Early Adulthood</b><br />
As I enter the early stage of adulthood, I discovered endless possibilities. It seems that I was seeing the world so small and easy during my school life ~ very dependent on my family. Though I don't consider myself yet as an independent person, I'm taking it one step at the time - everything doesn't need to be rushed. I feel so young and free ~ I can now take care of myself, decide on what I want, go wherever I want. Careless at the same time responsible (does that even make sense? -_- )<br />
<br />
<b>Doomsday Conspiracy</b><br />
I'm proudly to say that I survived another doomsday, yay! So much for that. I don't actually believe with the so called "doomsday" or the end of the world thingy but I believe about the possibility and hopefully we are already prepared by that time.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">----------------------------</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">I think that is too short for my 2012 summary but hey, that is why it's called "in a nut shell"!</div><div style="text-align: center;">And maybe because a huge amount of my time was spent being a bum.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"></div>----------------------------<br />
<div><br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;">The last thing I want is to have a decent direction (2013) although I don't obey nor follow that much (as I don't really make any new year resolution) ~ but I know for a fact that when there's will, there's a way!</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>New Year's Resolution</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><ul><li>Become independent as much as possible. I want to learn to live on my own ~ I'm saying as much as possible since I know that I still need guidance from my family.</li>
<li>Better and stable career. No need to elaborate. A better career means a better life!</li>
<li>Improve my focus and concentration. I spent most of the time being absent-minded and daydreaming so that's why -</li>
<li>Healthy lifestyle. Eating healthy, no smoking, maintaining physical fit body by means of exercise and active lifestyle.</li>
<li>Quit smoking. I've done it many times but avail no success. Sucks for me! I think I need more motivation.</li>
<li>Stable relationship. I'm done having shitty and short ones. Time to get serious. Someone that I can proudly introduce to my family and relatives. (NOT REALLY SURE ABOUT THIS ONE, LOL)</li>
<li>Computer use reduction. To have an active lifestyle is to lessen my lazy ass sitting in front of the computer.</li>
<li>Buy something expensive for myself. It's more like want than necessity, ego I guess. Don't take that expensive term literally, just something with a high price that I can afford and put pride on.</li>
<li>Start giving out birthday gifts and Christmas gifts. I can't give out anything this year because I want to save it first for the future. </li>
<li>Read more literature. I want to start a reading habit. Though I'm no longer studying, I still want my brain being fed with knowledge ~ not to mention that it will also improve my vocabulary.</li>
<li>More improvement of self-confidence. </li>
<li>Be more useful to the society. This is getting very generic. LOL</li>
<li>I want to have a ripped body. BUT not like those abnormally obsessed men that makes them big (shrinking heads, nothing but body). I just want to have a beautifully shaped body - couple of abs, visible biceps.</li>
<li>ENJOY ANOTHER PROSPEROUS YEAR!!</li>
</ul><div>I think that's all for it and the end of my thinking capacity. I have 365 days to do them all!</div><div><br />
</div><div><b>Again, Happy Holidays and have a prosperous New Year!</b></div><div><b><br />
</b></div><div><i>This is Kevin (aka <a href="http://thesnowcone.blogspot.com/">SnowCone</a>), posting my last blog entry of the year 2012!</i></div><div><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/423326_573047149378669_1609453993_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/423326_573047149378669_1609453993_n.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div><br />
</div><div><br />
<i style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: red;">Note: Proof read 1/18/2013, better late than never. What the hell was I writing last year? I spelled "career" as "carrier", way to go for a zombie apocalypse addict. LOL. At least the errors were minimize. </span></i></div></div></div>Stash Keeperhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08288265995598068504noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9183398700519624612.post-72361957464019196662012-09-15T11:18:00.000+08:002013-05-12T13:42:07.701+08:00Earn Money with Pay Per Download!<div style="text-align: justify;">Are you a content owner? Do you want to earn money as people download your stuffs? Do you want to earn $1 OR even $10 for each download you have? <a href="http://sharecash.org/index.php?ref=84S5">Then Pay Per Download website is for you</a>! </div><br />
<a href="http://sharecash.org/index.php?ref=84S5"><b>HOW DOES IT WORK?</b></a><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">When you upload a file, you're given a download link so visitors can access your file. When a visitor clicks the link, they are first asked to complete a quick, short survey from host's advertising partners. When the visitor completes a survey, you're paid usually around $1.00 or even up to $10, and their download begins.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">It uses over 5,000 active surveys that span nearly every single country in the world. They have an advanced self-learning algorithm that decides which surveys make you the most money, and automatically optimizes the ad placements for you. On average, you can expect to receive about $1.00 - $10.00 per download. Some surveys for smaller countries do pay less than that, while some surveys pay up to a whopping $20! It also actively optimizes and maintains their offer base with multiple top-tier advertisers to ensure you ALWAYS make the most money with them. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><a href="http://sharecash.org/index.php?ref=84S5"><b>BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!</b></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">You can also increase you potential earning by recruiting referrals! Share your affiliate link and as people register under you, you will also get 5% of their earnings. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">You can earn at least $0.05-$0.50 per download of their file. Let's say if they had 10 downloads a day per file, you'll get $0.50-$5.00 daily. Not to mention that you can have as much as referral you want - 5, 10, 50, 100, its up to you! Just keep on recruiting. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">You'll also get extra 1% for every 10 active referrals you have, up to maximum of 12%!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Are you fucking kidding me? I got nausea, fever, and rashes (lucky me, not my face or hands) all throughout the interview and exam! And because of this, I find it hard to concentrate answering the questions in the written exam and the interviewer. I feel nauseous and almost want to puke the entire time but I have to endure it for the sake of the job.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Luckily, I managed to put the schedule of my interview and exam today because I don't even know if I can make it if I have it on Thursday! >.> I already a bad feeling in the morning as I wake-up that I will be having a pretty messed up day for the interview but I salute my body to endure it. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We are 13 applicants and only 3 of us managed to passed the exam (you have to pass the exam before the interview). I wonder why?? I thought that the exam is pretty easy and only common sense is what you need? The exam is two sets by the way, 1st one is IQ test and the 2nd is English Grammar test. Still, I am not confident. Although I passed the exam, I still don't know about the interview not to mention my sickness the entire time.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Oh well, I'm still waiting for a miracle to happen. I have to wait till next week for their text. If I don't received any, they might have considered others. </div>

At some point, I keep seeing people getting out of their usual system. I guess people really are working on it despite for the fact that no matter how you escape reality, it will only hunt you. But who are them to be blame? However, these false pretenses are not enough nor ever will cover up themselves.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
As I browse everyday over the internet, I realize how to keep my netizen ethics. Everything you post and everything you say reflects on you. What is meant to be public can be publicize and what is meant to be private should keep an eye for privacy. </div>

It's pretty nostalgic for me seeing what I used to be in the past. I am being thankful because I already passed on to that stage of life.</div>

Thinking about love, I therefore conclude that the factors affecting the behavior of your partner depends on you. It was like what you breed is what you get, what you expect is what you expect or something like that. It's hard to put into words, even using my mother tongue. </div>

Well, anyways, at least the bad weather is already gone. It's been a long time since I saw sunshine. I like rains but not the excess that leads to many houses are washed away and flooded. </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
So today, I just finished reading all 3 books of "<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hunger_Games_trilogy">The Hunger Games Trilogy</a>" after five days. Yep, I can read fast and still understand every bits of it as long as my interest matters. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I really got interested after I watched the first film, <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1392170/">The Hunger Games</a> after it was released online (I'm a hell of a pirate, really). The movie itself was really great despite of having some major and minor tweaks which is very understandable considering that some parts of the book is not entirely important. The idea of getting some parts from the sequel book is very ingenious otherwise it might have been many dull moments and confusing scenes.<br />
<br />
After I watched the movie, the urge of wanting more haunts me. Then I decide to put my interest in the book because I have to wait till next year for the next installment, November 2013 (<a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1951264/releaseinfo">see detailed release dates here</a>). Hopefully, it will be released the same date as US which is November 22 - in our timezone it will be November 23 (GMT+8, Manila). I even read the first book considering that I've watched the movie which is rarely I do (for the fact that it is already spoiled by the movie). I consider that a high level of interest!<br />
<br />
<i>Why do I consider it as high level interest? Take note of the Harry Potter series, I only watched the film. I managed to read the Deathly Hallows but got lazy and lost interest, leaving the halfway of pages unread.</i><br />
<br />
I can't buy the books because of the bad weather (it's been raining nonstop here for weeks, day and night) so I made it work reading e-books. It's not easy BTW, it irritates my eyes if I spent to long but I can't believe that I didn't notice the time as I read. <br />
<br />
The Hunger Games is the 2nd book that I've read after watching the movie being <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Notebook">The Notebook</a> as the first one which is a very different case - reading it because of a responsibility not knowing if I'm really accountable for. Same reason goes with <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Time_Traveler%27s_Wife">The Time Traveler's Wife</a> but did not finish it though I'm also halfway through with it. OR it might have been third, I just can't remember if I managed to finish <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sundays_at_Tiffany%27s">Sundays at Tiffany's</a>, a novel turned in to movie also, though I remember that i read that.<br />
<br />
At some point, I thought of it's good to read the book first before watching it. The reason is obvious, why bother spending many days reading a novel after watching it within 2 hours or so? But being like me, not much of a bookworm, has to thank the movie for giving the knowledge that it came from a novel.<br />
<br />
Well, <i>happy Hunger Games everyone! May the odds be ever in your favor, always!</i></div>

Known as the "Blade Runner" and "the fastest man on no legs", Pistorius, who has a double amputation, is the world record holder for class T44 in the 100, 200 and 400 metres events and runs with the aid of Cheetah Flex-Foot carbon fibre transtibial artificial limbs by Össur. He competes in T44 (single below knee amputees) events though he is actually classified in T43 (double below knee amputee).</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">On 4 August 2012 he became the first double leg amputee ever to participate in the Olympic Games when he entered the men's 400 metres race. I read the news in <a href="http://ph.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/olympics-fourth-place-medal/nbc-accidentally-aired-water-polo-wardrobe-malfunction-photo-185517892--oly.html">Yahoo</a> so I immediately searched for some uncensored photo (LOL). This event was held last Wednesday (August 1), a match between Spain and United States. Kim Craig accidentally pulled out the swimsuit and exposed the right breast of the Spanish athlete.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It was aired online by NBC and many viewers might have actually seen it. Such a very rare scene that can be seen particularly on a prestigious event.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Accidents happens and these kind of so-called "wardrobe malfunction" is very common particularly in this kind of game. After all, in water polo, kicking, grabbing, pulling, punching, struggling -- it's all legal underwater. What you see above is different on what is happening underneath. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Anyways, the match lead to a tie between Spanish and United States for a total score of 9-9.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
The picture in the left made me laugh a little. This is a true story especially for the first timers - fresh graduates who are applying for their first job.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />The major problem that most likely ruin an interview is because of nervousness. Nervousness leads to heart beat getting faster, cold palms, shaking hands, tremble when talking, and lost of concentration.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Okay, so enough with that. I got a story about my job interviews during the other day. I'm not gonna pinpoint or reveal names of the company or the personnel that held the interview. Just my experience ;)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A day before, I received a text message regarding an initial interview that will be held the next day. It was so early, 9:00am appointment. The location of the establishment is very far from my home, let's say at least 2 hours of travel or if unlucky, may get up to 3-4 hours because of traffic. Realizing this, I decided to go since I also have another job interview where I can go any day of the week with different time slot, 2:00pm.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I have to wake-up 4:30am, giving a 30-minute grace period until 5:00am just in case of laziness in getting up (LOL). So it does really was, I woke 4:30am but managed to get up 15 minutes later (almost wide awake). My target time to leave the house is 6:00am, so I have at least an hour to prepare myself - eat, take a bath, fix my self and my stuffs. I managed to leave the house following my time scale BUT I left my bottle of water and umbrella (tsk, tsk). Now, I have 3-hours to be used in traveling.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I managed to arrive at my first destination and interview on the right time, 9:00am. Unfortunately, me and my fellow interviewees waited an hour before the initial interview starts. I thought everything will go well since the interviewer look nice and kind but I was wrong. On my turn, I was aggressively attacked (asked) - she started asking what position I'm applying for and since I don't know which job position is available in their establishment, I asked what are their vacant positions - she returned to me by answering, "I don't know to you, I'm not the one applying. If I offered you as electrician, will you accept?". So inside me, I was a little bit of "Huh? How can I know?". I really don't know their openings, the information sent via SMS did not indicate the position. AND BESIDES, I did not applied for them - they only got my resume in the other establishment where I really was applying at. Considering that I'm a fresh grad, I just continued to go on because I was desperate to get a job (almost 3 months jobless, the competition is to great huhuhu). The entire interview is all like that, very rude approach and grouchy if I did not answer her questions very well. How can I answer well if she's attacking me rudely and grouchy? I was discouraged to continue because I'm considering the atmosphere and people in the place of work. I just apologize and agree on what she says, just sign of respect. I don't want to act inappropriately.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
After the interview, I decided to go to my aunt's but before that I ate. I lost PhP100.00 during the process, because I really have a bad habit of putting money in my pocket when I'm kind of on the rush. That money is already a huge amount for me (Tsk, tsk). After eating, I went to my aunt's house which is few blocks away from the food outlet.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I left at my aunt's at exactly 1:00pm and went to an agency to submit my time card (for my OJT that held a week before, it is a paid training). I decided to go there first so I don't have to comeback again. At exactly 2:00pm, I arrived to my next destination and interview.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Sadly, like the first one, I waited almost 3 hours before my turn (I was interviewed by almost 5:00pm). There are also plenty of people who are on the queue so it's okay. The interviewer gave us something to eat and bottle of water while waiting WHICH is very nice of her. In the waiting process, I met a cute girl and had a long talk, like we have know each other for so long. Sadly, girls are not my priority as of now - I'm thinking of getting one once I get a job. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>I been talking to many girls lately but sadly, I really don't have the time yet or should I say - I have nothing to invest, time and money. Besides I need to focus first on my career and I need to concentrate (LOL).</i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Continuing, I managed to at least passed the interview and made me took the test (based on my observation, those who managed to passed the initial interview are those people who were allowed to take the exam and those who did not passed left the office right after the initial interview). The company is stable and I really prefer the working environment - location, office itself, and as well as the people who are very nice and courteous. The interview went well and the interviewer is very kind and understanding. After the examination, I was told that I have until Wednesday to wait for their call. If they did not call, it certainly means that they had considered other people. (I'm hoping to pass *cross-fingers*)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Summarizing all the interviews that I've went on the same day, both of them are entirely opposite from one another. Wish me luck! :)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Err, I am terribly feeling down now for having all of my movies lost because I have to reformat my netbook. It's pretty saddening because it took me 2-4 hours to download a single movie (in our country, the internet bandwidth distribution is not as advance as the other countries). I started gathering them for like 1 or 2 years ago. And guess what movie I saved during the reformat? TWILIGHT!!!!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Unfortunately, what left for me is Twilight - don't get me wrong, I'm not a twilight fanatic. This is for a special cause. My little sister requested to save it so we can watch it in our flats screen as I wait to finish my netbook to reformat. For some reason, she likes Twilight Saga.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<u><b>Laptop Keyboard Has Gone Crazy - Scrambled Keys</b></u> !! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Moving on, the reason why I reformatted my netbook is because the keyboard has gone crazy! It likes scrambled or something. The characters that appears when I type is different, let's say for example: when I press "Caps Lock", it enters the present time and date; when I press the "Fn" (function key), it enters "w"; when I press "x", it enters "xr\". It's pretty messed up actually. I wasn't able to use my netbook for an entire day. I tried to clean the keyboard and even tried the "Fn+Num Lock/Scroll Lock" Solution but failed.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Reformatting IS what I thought to be the solution but it seems that it wasn't. It's still scrambled after reformat. I didn't know what exactly happened on how I fixed it, I just messed up with the "Ease of Access" (Control Panel > Ease of Access) regarding "Keyboard". I clicked something in "Filter Keys" and after that, BOOM! I think it was accidentally or for some reasons activated after a Windows Update.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The sacrifice was wasted (the 100+ movies T_T) but my priority is to fix my netbook by all means! Guess I have to download them again but not all of them, just favorites. To be honest, most of them are just saved because I was too hesitant to delete them thinking that someone might like it or so I can share it.</div>Stash Keeperhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08288265995598068504noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9183398700519624612.post-73894997029128776222012-07-13T11:35:00.002+08:002013-05-12T13:48:40.635+08:00R.I.P - Dolphy, Philippine King of Comedies<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
When your website has earned an average number of visitors everyday, a FAQ page is essential. Frequently Asked Questions or FAQ is a type of web page that lists the most frequently asked by the site visitors or users regarding to the function of your website and services, and even provide general knowledge. It usually provides answers immediate after the questions. <br />
<a name='more'></a></div>
<br />
The advantage of having a FAQ page is:<br />
<ul>
<li> If you are the site owner/author - by referring the users/visitors to the FAQ page, you no longer need to answer the questions directly. Most of the questions you will be needing to answer are those that are not listed in the FAQ page.</li>
<li>If you are the visitor/user - you no longer need to ask and wait for a response if your question is listed on the FAQ page.</li>
</ul>
Considering you already have the ideas and questions that you will be listing in the FAQ page, I will be teaching you how to make a beautiful FAQ page using a Simple Dropdown Script. Do you want an example? Click the question below:<br />
<hr />
<br />
<b><a href="javascript:togglebar('001')" title="click to expand">What is a Simple Dropdown Script?</a></b><br />
<div class="hiddenbar" id="001">
It is a script that is commonly use in a FAQ page. The answer or content will be shown once the question or phrase has been clicked and the answer or content will disappear once the question or phrase is clicked again.<br />
<i><br />
Try clicking the question again to shrink</i>!<br />
<br />
*You can still add link like this: <a href="http://thesnowcone.blogspot.com/">My Blog Homepage</a>!<br />
*You can still add banner images like this: <a href="http://www.linkbucks.com/referral/175847"><img border="0" height="60" src="http://www.linkbucks.com/tmpl/mint/img/468_60link_bucks.gif" width="468" /></a></div>
<br />
<hr />
<u>I made this tutorial for blogger only. I haven't tried it to other web hosting site but if you did make it work, please post a feed back by posting a comment below. I believe the script works for all.</u><br />
<br />
<u><b>STEP 1</b></u><br />
<ul>
<li>Go to <b>Template</b></li>
<li>Click <b>Edit HTML</b> then <b>Proceed </b>(Make sure to have a back-up of your template in case something had gone wrong)</li>
<li>Copy then paste the code below exactly above the <b>]]></b:skin></b><b><br />
</b><blockquote class="tr_bq">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New",Courier,monospace;">.hiddenbar {display:none} </span><br style="font-family: "Courier New",Courier,monospace;" /><span style="font-family: "Courier New",Courier,monospace;">.shownbar {display:inline}</span></span> </blockquote>
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Copy then paste the code below exactly above the <b></head></b><blockquote class="tr_bq">
<span style="font-family: "Courier New",Courier,monospace; font-size: x-small;"><script src='https://sites.google.com/site/snowconescripts/dropdown.js' type='text/javascript'/></span></blockquote>
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li> Click <b>Save Template<br />
</b></li>
</ul>
<b>For advance users, you can download the script <a href="https://sites.google.com/site/snowconescripts/dropdown.js">here</a> and upload it to your own website.</b><br />
<b> </b><br />
Once the script is applied, <u><b>STEP 2:</b></u><br />
<ul>
<li>Create a <b>New Page </b>entitled <b>FAQ </b>or <b>Frequently Asked Questions</b></li>
<li>Select <b>Edit HTML </b>instead of Compose<b> </b>as the editor</li>
<li>Paste the following codes:<br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
<span style="font-family: "Courier New",Courier,monospace; font-size: x-small;"><a title="click to expand" href="javascript:togglebar('<span style="color: red;">001</span>')"><span style="color: orange;">How to make a simple dropdown script for your Blogger FAQ page?</span></a> <br />
<br /> <br />
<div class="hiddenbar" id="<span style="color: red;">001</span>"> <br />
<span style="color: lime;">Answer: If you want to have a comprehensive looking FAQ page, you just need to read my tutorial<a href="http://thesnowcone.blogspot.com/2012/07/blogger-faq-page-with-simple-dropdown.html">here!</a></span><br /><br /></div><br />
<br />
<a title="click to expand" href="javascript:togglebar('<span style="color: blue;">002</span>')"><span style="color: orange;">How to make a simple dropdown script for your Blogger FAQ page?</span></a> <br />
<br /> <br />
<div class="hiddenbar" id="<span style="color: blue;">002</span>"> <br />
<span style="color: lime;">Answer: If you want to have a comprehensive looking FAQ page, you just need to read my tutorial<a href="http://thesnowcone.blogspot.com/2012/07/blogger-faq-page-with-simple-dropdown.html">here!</a></span><br /><br /></div></span></blockquote>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<i>Take note of the colored texts:</i><br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b><u><span style="color: red;">Red</span> and <span style="color: blue;">Blue</span></u></b> - Unique ID. They should always be the same. I prefer to use a unique ID for each pages (you can also apply this format to any part of your page). Example for your FAQ page: "FAQ001" , "FAQ002", "FAQ003", and so on.</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><u><span style="color: orange;">Orange</span></u></b> - The Question or Phrase. Indicate your question or preferred phrase here.<br />
<b><u><span style="color: lime;">Green</span></u></b> - The Answer or Content. Indicate the answer to your question or place the content here. You can also still use other scripts or html codes (img, span, font, and others) as long as it's still inside the <div> tag.</div>
</li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If you want to add some more, just paste the code again, change the ID, and edit the content. Indicate name in an orderly manner (it may be numerical or alphabetical). You can always check the "<b>Preview</b>" to see the result.</div>
<ul>
<li>Once you think you are done, you can now "<b>Publish</b>" your FAQ page! </li>
</ul>
<hr />
That's all for the tutorial! I kept it concise and informative as much as possible, now its your turn. If you followed the instructions carefully, you'll do good. Well, good luck!Stash Keeperhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08288265995598068504noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9183398700519624612.post-9741866683724634702012-07-06T21:22:00.003+08:002013-05-12T13:49:00.840+08:00Kim Dotcom: Megaupload will Return<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This tweet came from Kim Dotcom - the founder and owner of the recent raided file hosting site, <a href="http://megaupload.com/">Megaupload</a>. SOPA (<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stop_Online_Piracy_Act">Stop Online Piracy Act</a>), ACTA (<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-Counterfeiting_Trade_Agreement">Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement</a>), PIPA (<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PROTECT_IP_Act">Protect IP Act</a>) are just one of the bills that were created in order to stop piracy and copyright infringement in the internet. They were made to act as police patrol focusing in guarding intellectual property and copyrighted materials (such as movies, games, ebooks, music, etc.). </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Unfortunately, these bills never passed because many people opposed. Maybe due to the fact that the coverage of those bills are way to broad that it might even cause invasion of privacy. Some also see the good impacts of P2P sharing of files. <span style="background-color: white;">Since these bills never passed, Kim Dotcom is confident that Megaupload will return. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: white;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Back in the day, my knowledge about the internet were limited. I haven't learned much of that yet. Due to curiosity, I discovered some things that were suppose to be illegal - piracy. Megaupload is one of the best downloading site (for me) next to <a href="https://www.rapidshare.com/">Rapidshare</a>. This is were I download most of my games and movie collection.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
When I discovered using torrents for downloading, my vision about Megaupload begin to be bad. As you observe, in those kind of File Hosting site: they have download bandwidth (download speed) limit; you have to wait many seconds for you to download; number of parallel downloads (number of files the downloading at the same time) is limited; show ads/pop-ads upon download ----- if you are a free user. In short, if you are a free member, your have certain limitations in using their services. If you want to remove these limitations, you have to purchase their premium membership account.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Megaupload was not seized because of piracy, it'<span style="background-color: white;">s because of conspiracy. Don't be confused about the two, conspiracy is much higher than piracy. </span><span style="background-color: white;">It's conspiracy because they were aware that they are breaking the laws. They use copyrighted materials to earn profit. </span><span style="background-color: white;">They were luring people to purchase their premium account to download copyrighted materials (movies, games, ebooks, music) - considering that they have big file size. If you don't get how it works, they were using the uploaded copyrighted materials as their marketing strategy to gather sales. How do I say that they used it as marketing strategy? They don't comply to DMCA (</span><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Millennium_Copyright_Act" style="background-color: white;">Digital Millennium Copyright Act</a><span style="background-color: white;">) and mock. They were hiding copyright materials in their own search engine (I forgot the name, its either MegaSearch or MegauploadSearch, what ever! They have their own search engine). They also have this Top Download Files page were you can see the top downloaded files in their website but all of them are just lies and false. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: white;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>In summary, they were using copyrighted materials as a marketing tool to promote their premium services and gain revenue. They were mocking and ignoring most of the copyright complaints by the owners of the materials. They also provide false information to the authorities and continues to hide the copyrighted materials in their own search engines.</i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: white;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I no longer recommend subscribing with those kind of greedy website whose using the free-stuff uploaded by the users to earn profit. It was like piracy brought to a whole new level, you got the free-stuff "free" but then will redistribute it "not totally free" (they get revenues with the ads shown if you're a free user). Torrents (Peer-to-Peer sharing) are more efficient to use, free of charge and only certain precautions are needed.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Megaupload is coming back but it will never be the same as before. They can't fool people anymore. SOPA, ACTA, PIPA may be dead but as long as they are creating conspiracy, they will be shutdown. And also, many people has realized the goodness of using torrent than file hosting sites. Why use them if you can get them absolutely 100% free?</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Found this on <a href="http://9gag.com/">9gag</a>. It's really funny because most of the people in the said social network use it as a their "Psychiatric Treatment". They use it to express themselves - overly express should I say where it comes to the point that it is getting really personal. For some reason, getting likes from those kind of status makes you feel better -- which is weird.</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
As far as I observe, it's usually the girls -- which is not surprising. The problem with them is that they have low self-esteem and high level of insecurities. Or maybe I'm just saying this because most of the guys are not that expressive in nature unlike them? This is just an opinion on a male perspective.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Unfortunately, most of them are abusing or worst -- start cursing and swearing. They use profane or vulgar words which is really irritating to eyes every time you read it. I know that being judgmental is bad, but it's what you wanted, right? We are living in the world where you are judged on what you do assuming for the fact that it's what you wanted after all. All I can say is be careful on what you post/comment, it's a huge responsibility. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Moving on, the funny thing about it is that when somebody or someone asks what's the matter, they will reply "I don't want to talk about it". So seriously? Why post such thing if you don't want to share about it? Attention whore.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Excuse my excessive use of present day terminologies. I learned that also in 9gag. hahaha! It might sound harsh but if you come to think of it, the meaning is not that to harsh. Let's just say that it's these words are opposite of Euphemisms. :)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
By the way, this is the original post from 9gag: <a href="http://9gag.com/gag/4679706">http://9gag.com/gag/4679706</a></div>

<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4kZ9xAPMxTQ/T9mb81PI8qI/AAAAAAAAAGY/l-hlgTvflBM/s1600/snowconeupdates.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="185" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4kZ9xAPMxTQ/T9mb81PI8qI/AAAAAAAAAGY/l-hlgTvflBM/s320/snowconeupdates.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
Okay, so there are some (actually, there were only two) narrow-minded people who doesn't see the point of turning backs. My mentality is clear and I know what I'm doing. I have come to the point that I need to follow what I really want and certainly aware that I'm living on a free country.<br />
<br />
Just to be clear with these retards, I'm choosing perseverance than opportunity. Why? So I can get what I want.<br />
<br />
I'm not your typical HRM graduate who is desperately in need to go out of country just to work. I did not take this course just to work abroad to get high salary. It seems that people are forgetting the passion for work, now they are working for money. I'm really against with that kind of thinking. It seems that they already lost faith in their country. The chance of seeing a working man passionately is like finding a four-leaf clover.<br />
<br />
I was give a lot of opportunities but none of them are in my liking. Yep, I have a backer in one of the famous restaurant in Greenbelt, my father can back me up to apply in a cruise ship as front desk, and recently that I've lost interest on is the ESL teaching program - I don't know why did I applied their in the first place.<br />
<br />
Actually it's only a trial, I only tried but I'm not really in to it. I start having interest when I found out that my two best buddies are also going for it but then they decided to quit, I quit also. I still have a friend out there but I don't like to hang with her anymore. I think she turned blind for the fact that I'm really still in to her, that I'm still clingy and emotionally attached to her. Which is not true, but my actions speaks otherwise but don't get it wrong, I only act because I enjoy seeing her too confident for herself. It seems that she really thinks that she's so beautiful and irresistible. Oh, BTW, congratulations for catching my attention, sorry but I'm no longer buying it! Hahaha<br />
<br />
I really love people who underestimate my capabilities then watching them screwed up. Not doing it doesn't mean that I can't, I can but I don't want. It's just what I want you too see. After all, we're just people with the same level of luck.<br />

<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4kZ9xAPMxTQ/T9mb81PI8qI/AAAAAAAAAGY/l-hlgTvflBM/s1600/snowconeupdates.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="185" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4kZ9xAPMxTQ/T9mb81PI8qI/AAAAAAAAAGY/l-hlgTvflBM/s320/snowconeupdates.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I'm quite entertain on what's happening around me. As far as I can observe again, it appears that it's on the move again - I'm calling this "it" because I only use "he" & "she" to humans and when I mean humans, that person should be human physically and mentally. Physically yes, but mentally - FUCK NO! HAHAHA!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I'm really entertained because it is getting really messed up, considering the external factors affecting it. As far as I can tell, true friends will not tolerate the wrong deeds, the parents shouldn't be lied to, and all shit that you've done will eventually comeback at you. All I can say, IT IS REALLY FREAKING MESSED UP! The most messed up thing that I've witnessed is that IT DARES TO COMPLAIN FOR HAVING A MESSED UP LIFE.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
IMO, when it is we ourselves are the ones who are making it,we decide for it. We sometimes regret it but did it come to realize that was what it wanted? "Used to want" to be exact. This makes us responsible for such acts. I think one day it will realize that it was it all along but that will be too late.</div>

Next is I quit the training and continue the job offer. Two of my friends who made it worth going back-out because they think we are just going to waste our time there. Its not that we don't have faith with our capabilities, we only lose interest. Besides, I was already having doubts when I went their. I decided to go because I knew that those two friends of mine are going to join but other than that, nothing.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Luckily, one of my co-practicum trainee invited me to her work but I began to lose interest when I was informed that it was a call center company. I might have agree if that is hospitality or tourism based job, but it turns out that it isn't. I'm still thinking about it.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
There are a lot of opportunities out their but sometimes due to rush, we forget to know what we really want. Me? I have plenty of options, its just that I don't know which one is what I really wanted. </div>

This coming Thursday, I will be trying my luck. I'm going to submit my curriculum vitae to various hotel companies in the vicinity of Manila. Wish me luck!</div>Stash Keeperhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08288265995598068504noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9183398700519624612.post-65867111539284838312012-06-17T15:22:00.000+08:002012-06-17T15:22:26.739+08:00Career Foundation<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4kZ9xAPMxTQ/T9mb81PI8qI/AAAAAAAAAGY/l-hlgTvflBM/s1600/snowconeupdates.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: justify;"><img border="0" height="185" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4kZ9xAPMxTQ/T9mb81PI8qI/AAAAAAAAAGY/l-hlgTvflBM/s320/snowconeupdates.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Well, just another regular update to my life's happenings although I knew that it's not your business and you don't care, I'm just sharing.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Recently my friend invited me to a work where we will be going to teach <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_as_a_foreign_or_second_language">English as Second Language</a> (ESL) to Koreans. At first, I was so hesitant because it has a no major connection towards my degree. In short, it's very far from my field of expertise (I haven't thought of that yet actually). I was expecting me to become a food attendant, waiter ,chef, front desk clerk, back-office staff of a hotel, housekeeper, restaurant manager, hotel manager, or anything related to hospitality and tourism industry - but teacher? Yes, but in terms of being a professor or instructor in a Bachelors Degree that involves tourism and hospitality courses when I am about to retire. I was also hesitant because I'm worried what will they think - my colleagues, friends, family, and relatives in choosing a career that is very far to my field of study. But thinking about life, was it necessary to what may others think? </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So I contemplated and now I decided that I'm going to pursue this. Why? Because it will contribute a lot to my well-being and strengthen my career foundation. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
As I mentioned before, I know and full aware that my English is not 100% perfect - both written and oral. Since my career path involves tourism and hospitality industry, I am oblige to use it and be good at it. Before the job, you need to pass the training that it involves accent reduction, accent application (American Accent) and enhancing grammar skills. I find this training a very good opportunity to enhance my vocabulary, grammar skills and even an accent! In exchange, you are require to teach and sign a contract with them if you pass. Sadly, we don't get any training allowance ~ </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
When I'm nervous, I begin to stagger. I talked fast as if that I want to finish it quickly to remove the uneasiness. Considering that I'm entering to an atmosphere that I'm not used to, this will be a great start to test and improve my self-confidence since the teaching will involve lots of talking. I will also be working on new set of people I'm not familiar with that has different personalities and probably experienced people. The students will be a different nationality - Koreans particularly.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
To sum up all what I've said, these will be one of my career foundation - enhancing my language skills and improving my self-confidence. I'm not rushing to work abroad or competing, I just want to be prepared - intellectually, physically, and emotionally before entering the field that I've chosen. This will be the start of my career.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
------------------------------------</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I will be busy during the weekdays because of my training and its about 20 days. I also need to sleep early and wake-up early because my commute takes one hour and a half (sucks, starts at 8:30am but wee need to be there on or before 8:15am). It will be definitely a hard time but as much as possible, I will still try to keep this blog updated and more tutorials will be added!</div>Stash Keeperhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08288265995598068504noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9183398700519624612.post-22041432138207216702012-06-15T18:10:00.001+08:002013-05-11T23:21:51.454+08:00Disable Right-Click Function To Your Website<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Today I will be teaching you how to protect the content of your website or blog - the images, texts, information and even the source code. These are some useful scripts that can be used to disable Right-Clicking / Right-Click function in your website.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Protecting your content is one way to be unique over the internet. It is also very beneficial if you are monetizing your blog especially when you are using Full-Page Script .</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The techniques that I'm going to show does not guarantee 100% protection but at least, it will lessen or minimize the leechers. There are specialized scripts and codes that can be used but it's much more advance. The thing is, those who really want to steal any of your valuable content or information will always find a way to bypass it. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
First, just copy the script code then paste them to any of the following:<br />
<a name='more'></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<ul>
<li><b>Easy Way:</b> You can place the code to any HTML/Javascript gadget (ex. Add Gadget "HTML/Javascript" in Blogger) or anywhere content of the page (by configuring them in HTML format). Same rules applied to any other web host or blog host. Just place the code to any web page you wish to protect.</li>
<li><b>Advanced: </b>You can place the code anywhere in between the <head>....</head> but as much as possible, place it before the </head> or after the <head> tag so you can easily recognize and find it.</li>
</ul>
<div>
<br />
Now that you know how to place them, I will give you several different ways to disable it:<br />
<br />
<ol>
<li><span style="text-align: center;">[ <b>DRCF_CODES_1</b> ] Disable Right-Click Function with Dialog Box Script</span></li>
<li><span style="text-align: center;">[ <b>DRCF_CODES_2</b> ] Disable Right-Click Function without Dialog Box Script</span></li>
<li><span style="text-align: center;">[ <b>DRCF_CODES_3</b> ] Disable Text Select Script</span></li>
</ol>
<br />
<i>Please use CTRL+F then copy-paste or type the code *ex. DRCF_Codes1* of your chosen script you wish to use. The scripts are quite long, use this method so you can easily reach 1 script then another.</i><br />
<i><br />
</i><br />
All scripts are tested by me and yes, they are working. I have been using them to my other blogs. If you have problems using them, feel free to ask question or post a comment below. Read my <b>notes</b> before using them.<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
V ------------------- v[ TUTORIAL END ]v ------------------- V</div>
</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This are just the three simple ways in protecting the content of your website. If you also want to use my tutorial and post it to your blog, no need to ask permission, just put me some proper acknowledgement and credits. I recommend you also not to change anything from it unless it is indicated or noted (ex. var message) otherwise the script will not function properly.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I will repeat, it does not guarantee 100% protection of your content but will lessen/minimize content stealing and leeching.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I highly recommend using the disable text select <span style="text-align: center;">[ DRCF_CODES_3 ]</span> plus either of the first two codes ( with dialog box <span style="text-align: center;">[ DRCF_CODES_1 ] or without dialog box </span><span style="text-align: center;">[ DRCF_CODES_2 ] ). It's, by far, the best combination for me.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I hope it helped you a lot! :)</div>
